The Turks and Caicos Islands are home to some of the most magnificent beaches in the world.  The breathtakingly clear blue waters are known for their legendary fishing, diving and snorkeling.  The island boasts three villages based on the architecture of Italy and France, and more than 12-miles of pristine beaches.

Day at Sea: 

A day at sea on Jam Cruise will allow you plenty of time to relax in the sun and take in TONS of music & activities! Make sure to bring your costumes as it's once again time to dress up, get down, tune in and party on!

Day 5

Coco Cay, Bahamas: 

Dance with your toes in the sand at our concert beach party on the secluded private island of Coco Cay. Surrounded by the gentle, translucent waters of the Bahamas and featuring white-sand beaches and spectacular surroundings, Coco Cay offers guests a wide variety of options. The 2-mile long island has been recently renovated to include new nature trails and aquatic facilities. Play volleyball, sign up for snorkeling, or simply relax under a palm tree with a Coco-Loco (the islands signature rum drink). No matter what you choose, you will feel like a rock star after spending a day in the paradise that is Coco Cay.

Please note when booking your flight out of FLL, MSC recommends choosing flights that depart after 12:30 PM. If flying from Miami, MSC recommends choosing flights that depart after 1:30 PM. Travel FAQ's


When should I schedule my flights?

If scheduling flights from Fort Lauderdale for the day the ship returns, MSC recommends booking a flight that departs after 12:30 PM to allow enough time to get off the ship, and pass through customs. If flying from Miami please schedule flights after 1:30 PM. This is MSC's recommendation and they will not be held responsible for anyone who misses a flight - book flights at your own risk.

Are there any discounted deals on hotels?

What should I pack?

Weather in the Caribbean this time of year is generally warm. But since some of the shows will be taking place outdoors in the middle of the ocean, there is the chance of it being cool. We suggest bringing some warm clothing just to be on the safe side. Other than that, anticipate wearing t-shirts and shorts pretty much the entire time. Bring your cameras and chargers to capture the entire event, ear plugs, sunscreen, bathing suit, comfortable footwear, costumes for theme nights, door decorations and rain gear (just incase).

What should I NOT pack?

No illegal substances or paraphernalia, alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, food, weapons, or pets. The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited on Jam Cruise 11, and all local, federal and state laws pertaining to drug use and/or possession must be respected.

Can we bring our own alcohol on the ship?

No. MSC Cruise Lines does not permit any food or beverage to be brought onboard. Alcoholic beverages will not be sold or served to anyone under the age of 21. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcoholic beverages to anyone. Alcoholic beverages purchased in the ship's gift shops or in ports of call will be retained by MSC Cruise Lines until the end of the voyage.

When and where do we board?

Boarding is from 1:00 - 5:00pm on the day of departure. Click for information and a map of the Port Everglades Cruise Terminal.

What documents do I need?

As you will be traveling outside of the country and visiting foreign countries, we advise that all passengers carry a valid Passport when attending Jam Cruise. Passengers without passports can use an original (no photocopies - must have a raised seal) birth certificate and photo ID to board the ship (and you will be allowed to leave the ship to visit the ports of call). Be advised, passengers MUST have a valid passport to disembark early. All foreign travelers should check with their local authorities to confirm that you have the appropriate travel documents required. How many pieces of luggage can I bring?

There is no limit to how many bags you are allowed to bring onboard, however be mindful that storage space in cabins is very limited. Both carry on and checked bags must go through security. Make sure your luggage is tagged with the MSC luggage tags you will receive at the port.

Will there be a pre-party the night before the cruise?

Onboard FAQ's


What time do we leave?

Check-in time on January 7, 2013 will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. You MUST be on the ship no later than 5:00 PM as we will set sail at 7:00 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

What time do we return?

On January 12, 2013, disembarkation is scheduled to begin at approximately 8:00 AM.

What is included with my fare?

All Jam Cruise 11 concerts, your cabin accommodations on-board the ship, all meals in the main dining room(s) and cafeteria, casual dining throughout the day, non-carbonated beverages (water, non-specialty coffee, tea, juices, etc), and use of the ship’s pools, health and fitness center.


What is NOT included with my fare?

Transportation to/from ship, shore excursions, sightseeing or meals ashore, meals in specialty and à la carte restaurants, wine, beer, liquors, cocktails, sodas, bottled/mineral water, laundry, medical expenses, spa, beauty salon, casino gaming, onboard shopping and all other items of a personal nature. 

* In the event that the cost of fuel increases between now and the time we sail, a fuel surcharge will be imposed to each passenger for our sailing January 7-12, 2013. The fuel surcharge will be added to the passenger's cabin costs, not to exceed $30 per passenger and must be paid in full by January 7, 2013 in order to board the ship for Jam Cruise 11. All passengers will be notified via email if such a fuel surcharge will be added to the cost of your cabin. If such a fee is imposed, the credit card on file for the primary passenger will be charged.


What will I need money for once onboard?

While on board, all alcoholic and soft drinks (not including tea, coffee & juices) will be charged to your sign and sail card, which you will establish credit for upon check-in. (MSC accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express). You must either put down a credit card or you may open a sign and sail card with a $200 cash deposit. All official Jam Cruise 11 merchandise and band merchandise can be paid by cash or credit card.

Are there ATM's onboard?

No there are no ATM's onboard the Poesia. Plan ahead if you are planning to gamble in the casino, or pay with cash at the merchandise store or at the port stops. You will be able to get cash advances from the Pursers office once onboard.

Is there internet access on the ship?

For those of you who can't leave the "real" world behind there is an Internet Café that is open 24 hours. Rates will be available onboard. Wireless access is also available in limited areas throughout the ship.

How many shows will each band be playing?

Most bands on board will be performing two scheduled shows (and who knows what other jam sessions might arise in the Jam Room!).

When is the music, at night time or during the day?

Music will kick off with a sail away party on the first day of the cruise, continuing nearly until dawn. Once we are at sea, music begins daily around 11:00 AM on the pool deck and essentially goes around the clock.

When will the music schedule be available?

The schedule for Jam Cruise 11 will be posted before we sail. Music will take place at multiple venues on board the ship. We want to make sure that you'll be able to see each and every band on board perform an entire show. No two bands will both perform at the same time twice.

What sort of activities will be planned on the ship besides music?

We are working with the artists to have them each be a part of something special on board. Since this is one of the most intimate musical adventures to ever take place, we feel it's important for those taking part to experience things they wouldn't otherwise be a part of, like music workshops, autograph signing sessions, fan friendly events and many other forms of non-music entertainment. Positive Legacy, Cloud 9's non-profit arm will be organizing a service project in port for Artists and Fans to participate in to benefit the communities we visit. Stay tuned!

What can we do when we get off the ship?

MSC offers many land excursions (w/ additional charges) while in port. Go parasailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and more. Packages will be announced and will be available for purchase onboard.

How many meals do we get a day?

Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, pizza bar and a midnight buffet are all included - food is available nearly around the clock.

When do I eat dinner?

There will be open dining on board in the main dining rooms from 6:00-9:30pm and a full buffet upstairs on the pool deck. There are a two restaurants on board for an up-charge: Kaito Sushi Bar and Obelisco Fine Dining Restaurant.

Will Vegetarian meals be served?

Yes. The MSC Poesia has a wide variety of food available to passengers with various dietary needs. Vegetarian meals will be an option at each meal throughout the cruise. If you have specific dietary needs (Kosher, Gluten-Free, etc.) please note this in your reservation.

Is there any dress code on the ship?

No. Think resort casual for the entire time, however stay tuned to Activities Announcements for special dress up theme nights.

Can I bring my kids?

Certainly! The child rates are: 1 mo-2 Years: $299 extra assuming the child will sleep in the bed w/ parents or use a crib. 2-10 Years: You must reserve a cabin including the child in the occupancy load. The child will receive 25% off the per person rate (not including the $210/person gratuity, port charges, greening surcharge, and fees). 11 Years and up: Full Price.

Is there a spa?

Yes, there is a full service spa & salon onboard - massage appointments fill up fast, book them early!

What fitness activities are available?

A fitness center and workout room with modern equipment is available. Our ship also offers a jogging track, table tennis, swimming pools and fitness classes. Yoga will also be offered.

Is there a casino?

The Poesia has a casino on board offering slot machines, craps, blackjack and roulette, Caribbean poker and bingo. The casino opens only while at sea and is closed while in port.

Are there laundry services on board?

Yes, complete laundry services are available for an extra charge.

Can I watch television or movies?

Yes - all staterooms are furnished with televisions. Check out our very own Jam Cruise TV or catch a movie while you are in your cabin.

Are hair dryers provided?

Yes - Suites contain a hand held dryer; all other cabins have hair dryers in the desk drawer.


Policies and Procedures


Zero Tolerance Policy:

In accordance with local, state, federal and international laws, Cloud 9 Adventures, LLC has a strict zero tolerance policy regarding the use, possession, purchase or distribution of illegal controlled substances. Any violation of the law will result in immediate arrest and/or disembarkation from the vessel as well as the individuals being turned over to the local law enforcement officials for appropriate legal action. In such cases Cloud 9 Adventures, LLC and MSC shall not be liable for any refund or other compensation or damages.

Can we sell/vend on board?

Due to prior agreements, NO VENDING OF ANY KIND IS ALLOWED during Jam Cruise 11. As a result, any and all vending on the ship is prohibited. Please do not make t-shirts, hats, posters, jewelry or anything else to sell while enjoying Jam Cruise 11. Anyone found in violation of this policy will have their unauthorized merchandise confiscated. This policy will be strictly enforced.

What is Jam Cruise's policy on recording and video equipment?

Video recording of live musical performances is strictly prohibited on Jam Cruise 11.

A special section will be located behind the mix position in each venue when possible for audio recording. Space in the audio recording section is on a first-come, first-served basis. You are allowed to clamp onto existing stands.


Please stay out of the way of the working crew/soundman and do not set up equipment in a way that would impair them to do their job properly. SBD's are not available due to professional recording companies working for Jam Cruise 11. Wireless receivers are strictly prohibited. Audio recording captured on Jam Cruise 11 is authorized for non-commercial purposes only. No Professional Photography Equipment may be used (small hand held cameras without additional lenses are fine). Unauthorized sale, duplication and/or distribution of any audio or video footage captured on Jam Cruise 11 is strictly forbidden. All Jam Cruise 11 performances and recordings are the exclusive property of Cloud 9 Adventures, LLC. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary.


Booking FAQs


Now that I've pre-booked, what do I do?

If you have already pre-booked your cabin, please wait for an Email from us with further instructions about how and when to place your reservation. You should receive an Email by May 4, 2012. If you do not receive your Pre-book token, please Email jctravel (at)

When does Jam Cruise go on sale?

Jam Cruise will go on sale to the general public at 12:00 Noon EDT on May 30, 2012 if any inventory remains after the pre-booking period.

Where can I place my reservation?

You can place your reservation online at If you prefer to place your reservation over the phone, please call the Cloud 9 Adventure's Travel Department at 561-368-8922

What information will I need to place my reservation?

Before placing your reservation, make sure you have all of the following info for all of your guests: full LEGAL name (no nicknames). Date of Birth, Address, Citizenship, Phone Number and E-mail Address. You will be asked to provide an emergency contact person (1 per cabin). Each guest will also be asked which artist brought them to the event. You will be given a choice of all individual artists or "the event itself." Please have an answer prepared for all of your guests. If you are unsure of who your guests will be at the time of booking, you can create a placeholder on the reservation site and fill in their information at a later time. Complimentary name and placeholder changes will be accepted until September 18, 2012. Name changes are subject to increased fees closer to the event. All name additions and changes made after September 18, 2012 will be subject to the name change fee of $75 per person. Beginning November 1, 2012, all name changes will be $125 per person. NO NAME CHANGES CAN BE MADE AFTER DECEMBER 3, 2012. If you are paying with multiple credit cards, you will need all of the credit card numbers (with expiration date and card verification number) as well as the billing addresses for each card.

What if I am traveling alone?

Take part in our Cruisin' Solo program! You can confirm your spot and only commit to a single space in a cabin. In the Cruisin' Solo Program you will be randomly matched up with other cruisers based strictly on gender. Cruisn' Solo spaces may not be purchased online! You must contact us to confirm a spot. You will only be responsible for the per person rate for the cabin (plus the fees). Email jctravel (at) with the subject line, Cruisin' Solo or call us at 561-368-8922 to confirm today! If you'd like to travel solo without someone else in your cabin, you're certainly welcome to do so. MSC does not offer single occupancy cabins, so you would need to purchase a double occupancy cabin. You are still responsible for the entire cost of the double occupancy cabin-including all fees.

What type of payments are accepted?

Cloud 9 Adventures accepts major credit: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. Checks and money orders are also acceptable forms of payment; please make them out to Cloud 9 Adventures and send them to 405 SE Mizner Blvd Ste 68, Boca Raton, FL 33432

What is a Pre-Book Token?

A Pre-Book "Token" is simply the unique code that you will use to access the booking pages. The Token will go live at a specific time based on the priority of your Pre-Book that will allow you to access the booking pages and choose any of the available inventory. If you have Pre-Booked multiple times, you will receive one Token for each Pre-Book, as each cabin must be booked separately. Only one cabin can be booked per Token and Tokens are non-transferable. Any reservation placed where the "Lead Passenger" (the person that placed the reservation) is not the Token holder will be cancelled.

What if I didn't pre book? When can I place my reservation?

If you did not Pre-Book your cabin, you will need to wait to place your reservation when the event goes on sale to the public on May 30, 2012.
